When and why did you become a Manchester United fan?

I became a Manchester United fan after the 2002 Fifa World Cup. I started watching “live” matches from television with the influence of my friends and parents during that 2002 Fifa World Cup period.

England were my favourite team when I was watching all World Cup matches. England had David Beckham, Paul Scholes and Gary Neville who caught my eye when they played. They were very good players, having professional altitude and also loyal to their clubs. Because of them, I have continued to see more of Manchester United matches and gradually become a United fan.

What was the most memorable experience you had as a United fan?

The Champion League final match against Chelsea should be considered as the most memorable experience I had as a United fan. The penalty shoot-out really thrilled me and that was the most memorable match I had watched on the television. At that moment, I did not expect that John Terry would miss the spot kick and give Manchester United the lifeline to win the shoot-out.

Who is a better defender – Rio Ferdinand or Nemanja Vidic?

Rio Ferdinand is a better defender in my opinion. Rio Ferdinand has been the backbone of the Manchester United defence for many years even though he did make many mistakes in the past. Nemanja Vidic seems to be able to perform at his best when Rio Ferdinand is beside him and makes him more composed in front of defence.

Frederico Macheda – talented youngster or lucky fluke?

He is a very talented youngster. Many people may say that he is a lucky player but I disagree with them. His positioning is very good like how he can move around when he is waiting for the ball to be passed to him. Against Sunderland and Aston Villa, he had shown us how well he positioned himself, ran to the correct place and scored a goal. He is not the type of player who just waits for the ball to come to him; he will track back and make it easier for the midfield to pass the ball to him instead.

Who will win the title this season, with just 6 games left?

As a United fan, I would say that Manchester United will get the title this season. I have confidence in them because they have one game in hand. Furthermore, the experience of Sir Alex Ferguson and the depth of the whole squad will certainly affect the outcome of the title race.
